Introduction
Welcome to the International Financial Management department. We are proud to introduce to you the International Financial Management (IFM) study programme of Economics & Management / HES. This programme is the English version of Bedrijfseconomie. We offer you a fine four-year programme at Bachelor Degree level, in which all lectures are taught in English, and are designed to meet the Dutch standard in Higher Professional Education (HBO). The HES is accredited by the HBO Council and the Minister of Education of the Netherlands, and is also recognised by a wide variety of international partners.

Getting ready for an international career, you will meet here many students of other international departments, coming from all parts of the world. We indeed offer you a challenging international atmosphere.
And because we think managers should be fit, you will also be confronted with many different kinds of sports, as part of the exam programme. In the third year you have to spend one year abroad to study at a foreign university and do your company placement. Together with our international partners, we can offer excellent opportunities to meet this condition. We hope to meet you in Amsterdam.
