The school
The HES School of Economics and Business is one of the largest institutes of professional business education in the Netherlands. It offers a wide range of business-related programmes leading to a Bachelor's Degree and preparing students for a Master's programme. Supporting courses such as foreign languages, law and intercultural negotiating are included in the programmes. Currently, the HES School of Economics and Business located at the Fraijlemaborg has a staff of 350 and some 5,000 registered students.
The HES School of Economics and Business is a school of Higher Professional Business Education (in Dutch abbreviated to 'HEAO'). Preparing for a future in middle and upper management in the private and public sectors, students learn from a team of professionals who are keen to share their experiences of the hectic and exciting world of business. Students at the HES School of Economics and Business are free to explore their own needs while following a four-year course of study similar to that offered by American universities and British university business schools. Classes are small; the study is full-time. Continuous assessment of international developments means that courses are geared to the latest developments in business.
