International  Exchange Programmes - Economics and Management

Welcome

The School of Economics and Management / HES was founded in 1867 and merged with the Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA) in 2004. Unlike traditional universities, the HvA, a University of Applied Sciences, has always emphasized the practical application of theoretical knowledge. Its graduates are entitled to a Bachelor Degree.

About 13.000 students are currently enrolled at the School of Economics and Management / HES, the largest school of the HvA, which overall has a total student population of approximately 40.000 students. Each year the School of Economics and Management / HES receives about 300 study abroad students.
