Application Procedure - Exchange Students
Deadlines
Students who wish to study at our institute during the Fall semester or the whole academic year need to apply before 1 May.
Students who wish to study at our institute during the Spring semester need to apply before 1 November.

In order to apply to our institute you need to send us the following documents.
- Form 1 - Exchange Application Form
This form also applies to Double Degree students. However, they need to send in extra documents, see below.

Please, send this form to us as soon as you know on which date you will arrive in Amsterdam. You can find the dates of our Arrival Days on this form.

- Form 3 - MVV (visa) form
Only students who need to apply for a visa (a so called MVV) have to send in this form. With this form you authorise us to apply for a student entry visa on your behalf. More information can be found in the accompanying brochure.

Please, copy the page(s) which contain(s) the following details: your photograph, your name, nationality, date of issue and the expiry date. - Two passport sized photographs.
- Transcript of records of your home institute
- Copy of your insurance

Additional Documents for Double Degree students
Double Degree students also need to hand in the following documents:
- Copy of diplomas and grades supporting your application (e.g. secondary school)
- Proof of enrolment from your home institution of the current academic year
