Exchange programmes at the School of Social Work and Law
In the academic year 2009-2010, the School of Social Work and Law offers exchange programmes at different entry levels. From November 2009 until January 2010 we will offer our "regular" International Classroom in English (intermediate level) for around 20 ECTS. Furthermore we will offer a 30 ECTS English (advanced level) programme: Social Work and Law: civil society and human rights in the second semester. This is a new programme starting in February until June 2010. We also offer a 30 ECTS English (advanced level) legal programme, the minor: Working in an international Legal Environment. This programme is open to students from Europe and starts in September 2010 until febuary 2011.
Legal Minor: Working in an International Legal Environment
This minor will be offered in the fall semester of 2010 for 30 European Credits (EC) (an academic year has 60 European Credits; 1 EC is the equivalent of 28 hours of total studytime in a week). The student should at least have passed exams in theoretical legal subjects of 30 EC. Application forms should be handed in before April the 1st 2010.

Internship placement
Finally there is a very limited amount of possibilities for an internship placement if you don't speak Dutch. However, it is always possible to do a comparative assignment. This external assignment is especially designed for international students in order to offer them the possibility to get into contact with the social work practice in the region of Amsterdam.
