Other expenses for ESP students

• books and other literature (recommended and compulsory):
  
  • € 800 first year
  • € 500 second year
  • € 200 third and fourth year
• copying costs etc; € 100 a year;
• laptop (optional) € 1000
• rent: approximately € 450 per month;
• food, clothing, transportation: approximately € 275 per month;
• medical coverage and third party liability € 450 per year;
• charges for practical classes e.g. Applied Sports Medicine, Electro-Physical modalities: € 100;
• Dutch classes (optional ± € 100);
• expenses for internship e.g. housing and travel costs differs per destination.;
• Entry Visa for the Netherlands (MVV) and residence permit € 950 (handling fee 350 and IND leges 600);

Amsterdam Talent Scholarships ESP

For excellent students who have an non-European nationality and pay the higher lecture fee of ± €  7,200 (2011- 2012), Amsterdam Talent Scholarship (ATS) exist. The ATS is € 3,000 a year. The refund will be done in November.

As the name already expresses, the scholarships are meant for excellent students.
