The IBMS programme
The English taught IBMS programme is varied in terms of both course content and educational approach. You will spend the first two years studying at our school in Amsterdam, with each semester highlighting a specific aspect of business. The programme provides good opportunities for those who are ambitious and are looking to excel.
Years 1 & 2: Business in theory and practice
The first year focuses on basic knowledge and skills in marketing, management, economics and finance. In both semesters, you participate in a project for which the other courses will also prepare you. This project runs for a full year and will teach you how to set up an actual company.
The second year is aimed at acquiring operational skills, where you will learn how to approach business problems strategically. During the first semester you will work on business cases and in the second semester you will conduct a Foreign Direct Investment Study.
Years 3: Complete a minor and/or study abroad
For your third-year programme, you have the following two options:
- You study abroad in the first semester, and you complete a minor at Hogeschool van Amsterdam, University of Applied Sciences in the second semester.
