The programme

In the foundation year you will take eight modules and participate in a yearlong project divided into two components. Each year is divided into two semesters, while each semester is divided into two blocks of seven weeks each. In each block you will take two modules. Each block offers you with the opportunity to use the understanding, knowledge and insight acquired in order to handle class assignments, business case problems, and projects.

The structure of the second year is similar to the first year, involving classes and projects. In this year, you will also decide at which partner institute you would like to complete your international exchange (if you prefer this to pursuing a minor within the programme).

The third year is also divided into 2 semesters. One semester is devoted to the minor and the other semester is divided into two blocks. Two blocks will be devoted to the minor and two blocks will be reserved for four different modules.

In the first semester of your third year, you will focus on your dissertation and two modules. You can be exempted from the work-placement requirement if you can demonstrate that you have been working throughout the programme.

After completing the PT IBMS programme, you will be able to:

• write a business plan
• identify the economic and legal situation in a specific market
• manage new product development and new product launches
• evaluate a company’s financial and legal performance
• recognise, analyse and assess behaviour (including multicultural team behaviour)
• plan a company’s logistics operations
