Your future career

As a graduate of the PT IBMS programme, you are likely to have a wide range of career options. You will have extensive knowledge of business and business administration, and you will have acquired and developed skills to apply that knowledge. During the last two years of your studies, you may choose to concentrate on a specific business area, but because of the relatively wide scope of the PT IBMS programme, that does not exclude you from entering other areas.

Professional field

You may start your career at a small or large company – in either the Netherlands or abroad – operating in the international market. You could also join an international bank, market research firm, advertising agency or other organisation in the business-services industry. Alternatively, you may choose to set up your own business.

Some examples of positions you may hold in the future:

The PT IBMS programme prepares graduates for a broad spectrum of entry-level jobs in international business all over the world. The majority of PT IBMS alumni start off in marketing, sales, international trade, accounting and finance, and customer services. Most of the graduates find initial employment in sales/economic roles, and then are ready to go on to management positions. Potential jobs include salesperson, Sales Assistant, Assistant Account Manager, Product Manager or Assistant Product Manager, Communications Manager, and Marketing Assistant. 

The quality of the programme ensures that their chances of finding a job after graduation are good, even during a recession.
