Honouring a tradition in business studies that goes back to 1867, School of Economics and Management is one of the largest institutes of professional business education in the Netherlands. It offers a wide range of business-related programmes leading to a Bachelor's Degree and preparing students for a Master's programme. Supporting courses such as foreign languages, law and intercultural negotiating are included in the programmes.

The School of Education at Hogeschool van Amsterdam offers a variety of programmes in the field of teacher education and pedagogics. The School has a prominent role in a wide range of educational innovations that are carried out in close cooperation with schools and other educational institutions. The SoE has almost 4000 students and circa 200 staff members (FTE).

The School of Social Work and Law (SSWL) prepares students for Bachelor's degrees in the fields of social work, law, applied psychology and public management. For international students, the SSWL offers a variety of programmes in English at different entry levels.

The School of Sports and Nutrition - with around 2000 students - is one of the crown jewels of the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, University of Applied Sciences. The three related, but also different educational programmes are connected to each other through two elements: quality and culture. The School of Sports and Nutrition is standing in the middle of the present society and always anticipates well on the quick developments in the field of profession. The School of Sports and Nutrition hosts three educational programmes.
