‘Intercultural Competence for Teachers’
In this module the SoE's home students and international exchange students study together to develop intercultural skills for the classroom.
Student placements in Surinam and the Dutch Antilles
Students prepare for their placement through a one semester course in intercultural communication and language. Placements in schools and social institutions last three to six months.
Conference 'Teacher in Europe' (delivered in English)
In this yearly conference, hosted by the SoE, students from ten European countries collaborate in setting up international school projects.

Seminar on inclusive education for lecturers
This seminar focuses on knowledge that every lecturer at the SoE should have about inclusive education.
Minor Working in Developing Countries
In this 30 EC minor, students focus on issues around development aid and developing countries. They then go to one of those countries for a practical placement. This minor is accessible for all students at Hogeschool van Amsterdam.
