International students at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, University of Applied Sciences (HvA) can apply for a number of scholarships and grants.

Amsterdam Talent Scholarships

In order to attract talented foreign students, HvA introduced a performance-based scholarship system: the Amsterdam Talent Scholarships (ATS). The ATS are awarded at the end of every academic year to non-EEA students. In order to be eligible for an ATS a student's study results have to meet certain pre- specified requirements.

Huygens Scholarship Programme

Excellent students at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, University of Applied Sciences can apply for a scholarship of the Huygens Scholarship Programme (HSP). HSP is open to both new and current students at HvA. In order to apply for HSP you need to contact the international office of your HvA school. Studiefinanciering

The Dutch government offers so-called "studiefinanciering" (study stipends). To find out if you are entitled to "studiefinanciering" please visit the website of the Informatie Beheer Groep
(www.ib-groep.nl). The Informatie Beheer Groep is responsible for the execution of several acts and regulations, such as student grants and information management.
