Scholarships and Grants

International students at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, University of Applied Sciences (HvA) can apply for a number of scholarships and grants.

Amsterdam Talent Scholarships

In order to attract talented international students, HvA has introduced a performance-based scholarship system: the Amsterdam Talent Scholarships. The ATS are awarded at the end of every academic year to non-EEA students. In order to be eligible for an ATS a student's study results have to meet certain pre-specified requirements.

Studiefinanciering

The Dutch government offers so-called "studiefinanciering" (student grants). To find out if you are entitled to "studiefinanciering" please visit the website of the DUO IB-Groep. DUO is responsible for the execution of several laws and regulations, such as student grants and information management.
