Upon Arrival

Housing corporations will inform students about special arrival days which they organise for international students.
Students who arrive on different days should go to the office of the appropriate housing corporation upon arrival in Amsterdam. At the corporation, you will sign the lease contract, pick up your keys and make a payment (or show proof of rental and housing fee payment). This first payment may be made with a credit card, or with a bankcard which is linked with the Maestro system. If you prefer to pay in cash, you will need to go to the ’GWK Travelex‘ offices in Amsterdam. The housing corporation will inform you about this procedure. The housing corporation does not accept cash payments or cheques.
Please make sure the credit card does not expire before the end date of your lease agreement.
